Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Easter has looked different with Covid the past few years but the regular egg hunt is back! We will be hosting the hunt at the Grandview Town Hall on April 16th at 2 pm. We will start off inside with registrations and instructions. The eggs, with candy or prize slips, will be outside scattered in sections prepared for certain age groups, for kids up to age 12. Assembly Park Bible Camp
Assembly Park Bible Camp is a place for kids to experience a time of personal growth in their relationship with God and themselves. They enjoy new and old friendships, fun, amazing food, and times of learning. Nothing can truly describe the camp experience! Our congregation loves helping send kids to camp. Registration prices are $210 per child and most families appreciate any help towards funds possible. We will be hosting a couple of fundraisers including a Taco Night Fundraiser on May 6th to help. Vacation Bible School
VBS this year is going to be Legendary! No, seriously, Mega Sports Camp Legendary! This year will be nothing like we've done before. We will get together, learn about God, learn about a sports legend, and work on sports fundamentals. This year, kids will have the option to choose from Volleyball, Flag Football, Cheerleading, or Drama. Scrimmages and performances will take place on Friday. So save the date and plan on joining this Legendary event! August 22-26 from 9am-12pm, ages 4-12.
Krazee Kids
KRAZEE KIDS has transitioned into using the Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries program afterschool on Wednesdays from 3:45 - 5:15. The boys are mentored by Dave Renz and the teen guys. The girls are split into two clubs mentored by Pastor Julie or Sara. The 3-5 year olds are in Rainbows with June. Each group works on a skill, Bible lesson, and have fun while earning badges for their accomplishments! We also have a couple of field trips involved! This year we will continue the program through the end of the school year. Looking forward to fishing trips, and camping. If you have any questions, please contact Maria Renz.
Bible Quizzing
Our church participates with the National Junior Bible Quiz as a team in the Northern League! The 2021 Quiz year is complete! We had two teams from Grand View and they placed 1st and 4th for the season. We brought home another trophy! We finished the season with a boys versus men round and it was close! These kids have learned so much and we are super proud of them! Thank you to everyone to helped!
